Both times took : over 20 tries each until I figured out that I had to stay in contact with : the wall above the ledge for as long as possible to slow down the falling : speed. When I touched down at the bottom, if a player can glance off of : the Rock displayed in Rocksliders video, you won't take as much damage. : During the second fall to the snowfield, staying in contact with the wall : helps to slow you down as well. Timing is critical, so is patience too :) Hey thanks for chipping in with that Captain Spark; I'm glad to hear there's at least some prospect for NTSC users. In your comment I wasn't sure if you were drawing attention to the specific rock design seen in BCM7 or just pointing out that you do need to hit whatever rock is there (after the tree), but the one seen in BCM7 is certainly the friendliest of the five possible designs you can get, allowing quite routine survival with perfect health - with my PAL version at least. Also, I see in your follow-up comment to Louis that apparently your method was chiefly "dumb luck". In that case I'm even more encouraged for NTSC users!
