I had something like that too! It was maybe within the last year or so. It was in the room with the 30-odd dozing Grunts - that's the one you meant, right? As you get to the entrance of the inner area (where you can normally whack an Elite from behind), my Grunt was the one not far off, sitting in a little recess at the end of the long thing on the right, which Elites pace around. I either tagged him or he took a blast some other way, and it must've wedged him into part of the recess, or something like that. The upshot was, he was stuck there like a foot off the ground with arms windmilling. And just like you, I thought he looked like he was swimming. Come to think of it, maybe that's where they get the windmilling from. Is swimming popular on the home planet? That sounds pretty dubious actually; they're not gonna get much kick with those stubby little legs are they? Anyway, it went on for several seconds or more before he became free.
