That's some awesome reasoning you got there. :the "brilliant" tactic of humanity that saved : them from being wiped out sooner was essentially burning their own nav : charts so no one could find their way home. That's like thinking of a : Dunkirk as a glorious victory because it was not as horrendous of a loss : as it could have been. It's lipstick on a pig! Yes! We should've let the Covenant find Earth, Reach, and all the Inner colonies sooner so we could've been an extinct species as soon as possible! That sounds like a grand idea! And Cole won several engagements in space that helped slowed the Covenant's assault. It wasn't nearly all because the Covenant couldn't retrieve NAV data.
