Any : civilization sending out radio waves or any other energy signatures would : be an instant attraction for the Flood and the systems on their captured : ships. A few non-tech planets might have been found, but the technological : ones would unfortunately be the easiest to locate. MBs's fleet witnessed ongoing attacks on high tech worlds. So they were still there very late in the war. According to Origins the Forerunners destroyed themselves eternally. That suggests that they didn't just go on a trip outside the galaxy so its unlikely that they took other races with them on a tip that they didn't actually take. :-) So what did happen to the other advanced races? Origins said that the Forerunners rebuilt what they destroyed, they didn't just reseed. Did they rebuild the structures of advanced civs? But then, were are they? What happened to them?
