But it is all opinion. Pong is perfect. You see exactly everything you need to see. Your paddle, your opponent's paddle, the middle line, and the score. Killzone, despite its pixel orgy, is inferior because there are so many extraneous things depicted that just aren't essential for gameplay. There you go. Pong is therefore better. And yes, it is an opinion. 480i looks better than 1080p to some people (my grandparents). You may have more pixels, but that's more detail that is simply wasted in many aspects. Football was still football before you could see the individual scratches on the player's helmet. For that matter a 300HP versus the Moped engine is also a matter of opinion. The moped engine fulfills all of its goals, and is more fuel efficient than a 300HP engine. Furthermore, there is a great deal of wasted power in a 300HP engine, you simply don't need it to get to the highest speed allowed in the US. It is entirely a matter of opinion as to what is better. Whatever suits the needs or desires is what is better, 100% of the time.
