: And this is MJOLNIR Mark 6 as depicted in Halo 3. Yeah, Halo Wars seemed to define the general characteristics of Mk IV, and Halo 1 did the same for Mk V, Halo 2 for Mk VI. And I don't think their depictions should be limited by hardware limitations but at the same time players have identified defining aspects from those different models to distinguish them. Like the Art of Halo 3 book showing a 'next-gen' version of the Mark V - it was still recognizable as that suit from Halo 1, but it upgraded it asthetically. Or another example is how the Babysitter adapted the Halo Wars suit for its anime. Is it artistic licence if to every viewer it looks like the Mk VI? Or is it then just... a mistake? I mean they can tell us something different, but if it looks identical to something else? I guess I'm trying to say regardless of what someone calls it, if it looks a duck... So that's I personally just assumed that it had to be some prototype/variant/customized armor specially suited for use with these booster frames and reflected the coming era of the advanced Mk VI. I thought overall the character designs pretty nifty in this episode, though. I especially dug the Halo 2-ish Brutes.
