No matter what feelings you have about Part 1. lol, depends what parts you have feelings about in the first, er, part. :) Its tempting to really nitpick the space combat as a bit of a connoisseur myself, but I'm actually not going to. Good looking episode imo, its probably the first bit of animation (traditional or CGI) outside of the games to really come close to capturing the Halo visual style. Vivid colours and fairly simplified in terms of detailed textures. Very smooth as well. Rather than coming across as just CGI, its possible to see it as a super enhanced version of the games, bar a few aesthetic choices (biiiiig googly red Elite fish eyes stood out the most). Maybe that's what Halo games 10 years from now might actually look like in real time, or pretty close. I feel bad for the Seraph pilots though. Those things were shot apart more easily than TIE Fighters. No wonder something as unwieldy as a Longsword can hold its own against them. Interesting note, the Seraphs appear exactly as they did in Halo 2, but wasn't the example we saw as the Arbiter meant to have been repainted in the Sangheili homeworld colours by the Heretics? The same golden beige with purple trim as the heretic Banshees. Same in Halo 3. Something forgotten, or just ignored by this point?
