Okay taking a cheap shot at me without hearing me out, how typical of the internet. Yes, in a far flung future where the government is willing to take away your children in the middle of the night and will beat you to death or shoot you probably if you don't give them up, yeah I'd hand them over, though not very quickly. You all assume I'd just go "okay yeah take my kids." Fuck that, I'm not that heartless or stupid. I would much rather have a sense of pride that my son/ daughter might be out there doing some good for the galaxy than to wake up one day, think my kid is just fine, just to have them "actually" die before me and believe that they were my child. Having to experience your child's death is far worse than not exactly knowing where they are and probably getting most of the bones in your body broken or yourself killed by your government. Getting back on topic. Don't blame me for the military's stance on women being in combat arms. I agree with it. I can tell you right now in an all male unit we don't have high school politics. As soon as women get involved in the unit, BAM! instantly too many men try to impress the woman. On the battlefield they will go out of their way even more so to protect that woman instead of doing the mission due to some weird thing ingrained in our genetics or brains. It affects us more than in affects them, but I've also seen plenty of women in the military not do their jobs fully on the battlefield BECAUSE of their heart. Hesitation from both sexes will lead to people on our side getting killed. Sadly those with a Y chromosome have this tendency to actually want to pull the trigger. Obviously there will be cases that prove otherwise for both parties as with the cop at Ft Hood. People need to stop branding me for something so quick without asking more questions. NOW REALLY GETTING BACK ON TOPIC. Halo Legends so far = awesome.
