I actually thought a much worse moment was at the start of the mission, when he crawled out of his pod, took his helmet off and shouted out loud.
Otherwise, I imagine most of the communication when they are wearing their buckets is over a comlink, and the systems could be set up so they could shout all they want and no one would hear it.
