In Response To: Re: Everything I've Come to Expect *SP* (ArteenEsben) : Monster! When I lay, I'll usually try to keep all the marines alive, : especially if they're holding heavy weapons. I've never killed them for : ammo or for a better weapon (why do that when you can trade weapons?). You couldn't trade weapons in the original game and sometimes they don't hold still for long enough, or they keep insisting on driving the hog that I want to shoot from. : I once kept all the marines alive until the twin bridges section of AotCR on
Was there a tactical advantage? Or was it just a pleasant feeling? I fight to keep them alive: on the beach at the start of Silent Cartographer, in the belly of the beast in T&R and maybe a few other places. But I do that because it will make my life easier in the long run. I don't see them as being real people. I see real people as real people so I'm not a psychopath or a sociopath IRL. (I suppose I am in game)
