In Response To: Plasma sword / energy sword (Rockslider) I didn't have a name for it other than the "sword" before since the game didn't provide one and it didn't show up all over the place. I start playing Halo 2 and get to the level "The Arbiter", swap out the sword, and see it says (paraphrasing) "Press X to swap with ally's Energy Sword", so I called it that. The in-universe explanation is that the energy swords and fuel rod guns used on Installation 04 had a dead-man's switch that made them self-destruct. | |
