As mentioned near the start of my article, you can also suspend it by moving up near the spawning area; but that's 'against the rules' as you could use that as an artificial way of alleviating the pressure. Which would mark you out as a complete wuss, obviously. : I was thinking about bringing this up as it's basically Firefight in the first Halo but with Flood and completely relentless (unless you can get through them back to where you started the level) but I wasn't sure what to say about it. Is that what got you thinking about it? Actually, the thing that brought it to mind again was the stuff I recently posted about the bridge onslaught challenge in ODST; a situation analogous to the Flood onslaught challenge. Also I was recently having fun in the Library again - a level which gets plenty of stick but which I have a great time in. So rather than dish out some more rockslide megabattle action (yep, plenty more of that coming), I thought I'd bring on the Flood boys for a nice spot of gurgling.
