In Response To: Brutes > Elites (Riceatron) On Legendary. Say hello to the true leader of a Covenant squad. The way they ran, fast and almost low to the ground even though they stood as tall as you. The colors instilled a sense of fear. Blue: ok not so bad, Red: gotta step my game up, Gold: Shit this guy is serious. I have never noticed a discernible difference between any of the Brute variations. As was already mentioned, rechargeable shields! Engagements are leaps and bounds more interesting. Their story! Based off everything we know about Brutes, I regard them as primal fools compared to the great Sangheili. The voice. Fighting an enemy that screams nonsense to your human ears is easily more engaging than "Here's something special!". WORT WORT WORT!!! Energy Swords beat any of the weapons / vehicles added to the games from the Brute sandbox, even though I do love to ride that Chopper. I could keep going but you hopefully get the gist of it... Bungie may or may not have intended for them to be that way, but because of the story-arc they planned out for the rest of the games the Elites became friends and not the fearsome enemy they should always be. Here's hoping it might be different next time around. *cough*REACH*cough*
