In Response To: Nope. (Hawaiian Pig) And whether I like fighting Brutes or not, that doesn't change the fact that they're simplistic, idiotic, and in every game but ODST (though occasionally in ODST), they throw a bubble and then run right out within two seconds hoping to die. No challenge, no fun. The point I agree with you most about is the fact that Elites have shields. Halo: CE on Legendary on the level "Halo" when the dropships keep dropping off more Covenant troops, those damn Elites are a bitch to deal with. Halo 3? Just like you said, blast the shields/armor off and they just go frolicking and leaping around, easy to run by, to stick, or to just keep shooting until they fall. Brutes appear to just be there to get in my way and take up my time, not to provide any actual challenge. I still enjoy fighting them, but that's because I like killing any Covenant invader who dares to challenge me. This thread almost looks like a troll's thread with the "What is the matter with each and every single one of all of you at HBO? I've never once ever seen anyone ever say anything ever about Brutes being good ever even though I'm new to HBO and have posted more times in a couple months than some people have in an entire year!"
