Yeah, have to agree with you on that. The developers should be more aware of how easily the fans notice even the slightest of errors.

Yeah, one can always theorize, but my point was, we haven't got an official explanation for it. Also, Half-Jaw with his fleet seemingly remained to quarantine High Charity, and for some reason, 343GS stayed with him, as they aren't seen on Earth until the Separatist fleet arrives, following the Flood ship.

Also, what was the point when SpecOps commander Half-Jaw became a Ship Master? In H2, he's a Specops commander, and suddenly in Halo 3, only referred to as a Ship Master. With no explanation. In my opinion, Halo 3 leaves too many changed or retconned plot points unexplained.

But anyways. This thread was about discussing whether the date ODST occurs on is 20th or 23rd of October.
