Another possible inconsistency *SP*

A bigger issue is how the event ties in with Halo 3. The Epilogue takes place one month after the drop, and assuming this isn't rounded and Bungie literally means 30-31 days later, then that puts us at November 18 or 19, which is when Master Chief should be doing his thing with Sergeant Johnson on the ground and thus refutes the timing of the Epilogue.

I figure that Bungie just rounded and it was really 27-29 days later, but that still cuts it unbelievably close considering that Johnson arguably only had a few hours to maybe a single day to beat the Chief to Earth. And of course there's still the issue of how they got back to Earth to begin with, but whatever.
