In Response To: Re: Brutes on Reach (Riceatron) : While I miss fighting the old Squid Chins myself, I think that ODST has : proven to us that Brutes can be pretty fun to fight, and a combination of : Brutes and Elites would be incredible. Brutes are fun to fight, but I'm siding with YNation here. It would be way too much of a retcon for me to ignore. I'll sacrifice the fact that I know Elites end up being allies, even though it's only because it makes the story tighter. I'm interested to see how Bungie balances that. Maybe there will still be some heretic Elites that the humans can fight with, while still fighting Elites and Brutes, so that it's not completely going backwards.
