Yeah I think you're right, they seem to be repeated alot including in the weapons caches. At Dare's drop site were the two I've already posted and this one:
--I noticed that there's also a sideways version of this but the SI symbol remains the right way up. There's plenty of the empty Ys around where dead Elites are aswell as an SI sadface one, but I think those are just to show that the Engineers liked the Elites (at least more than the Brutes) rather than being part of the stories Joe mentioned. The ASKLON logo is certainly similar, I've seen three different ASKLON posters. One is just the logo. Another is the Destiny Awaits poster with a picture of the Earth and an ASKLON logo:
There's also this list with the ASKLON logo:
--I presume these are locations that ASKLON has an office/establishment of some sort.
