I've looked pretty closely at the glyphs all over the game and I think that the two pictured in your first post are the main two. As I recall there are those two (and various rotations of those two), glyphs with nothing between the rays, glyphs with a sad superintendent symbol between a single pair of rays, glyphs with three superintendent symbols between the rays, and glyphs with one superintendent symbol in place of one of the other symbols in one of the two predominant arrangements. Next time I play through Mombasa Streets I'll think a little more about what the glyphs could mean.
