Haha! Yeah I started lurking here in middle school- Now I'm in college! Quite horrible to see some of my foolish and naive posts from years ago, so I totally relate. I think I found the place through the Halo 1 manual. I think it was in there... But now after years of HBO-ness I have horrible standards, because they just don't make fan-websites like this for other things in life. Nothing so simple, fast, and easy to read & follow, as well as having a nice personal, sort-of editorial tone to the news, and of course a halfway-intelligent (that's top of the line in my book) forum!
