In Response To: So what do we think then . . . (Jillybean) : What do we think about making the line between multiplayer games and campaign : games very clear? What little I've played of Team Fortress I've found : quite amusing - the many different classes and skills make that more : replayable for me. And by contrast you get the campaign orientated games : of Half-Life or Portal? I'd like to see them blurred. Part of the reason MP doesn't appeal to me as much is because there's no story, because of the inherent symmetry of gameplay, etc etc. I like coop as a multiplayer mode, and I like inherently assymetrical games like Zombies/Infection. I'd love to see a Halo game where you spend part of your time as the Spartan protagonist, and your multiplayer opponents spend time playing high-ranking Brute and Elite enemies. When they die, they gain control of the next available similar NPC unit.
