(Leviathan) : -Didn't want to start up a whole new topic, but this is kind of a tangent : from the original post- : The timeline mentions nothing of Chief's arrival back on Earth aboard the : Dreadnaught and THEN a retreat back to Jupiter, as many of us guessed : happened when we read Uprising. : "November 8: The Forerunner dreadnought arrives in the Sol system and : proceeds to Earth at near relativistic speed." : Now is this referring to the ending of Halo 2? Would a more detailed timeline : also say "and then they headed back to Jupiter"? Doesn't seem : like this entry is implying that. : "November 17: The Forerunner dreadnought arrives at Earth. SPARTAN-117 : ejects and lands in the Kenyan jungle." : Or is that the ending events of Halo 2? If so, would that mean that Uprising : is actually taking place before the last segment of the final cutscene of : Halo 2? : OR...is Halo 2's "finishing this fight" scene not canon at all : anymore? : Ugh... My head hurts now. When the dreadnought arrives at Earth, I think it proceeds to dock with the Ark portal. The story happening at Jupiter I think has to happen prior to Truth's arrival at Earth, so Uprising takes place before the end of Halo 2. When the Dreadnought does finally arrive, the Chief speaks with Hood. I'll have to reread the first 3 Uprising comics, because the Chief is in contact with UNSC while aboard the Dreadnought at Jupiter, so I'm not sure of the exact timing of events.
