In Response To: Halo - a look back over seven years (Louis Wu) : http://halo.bungie.org/news.html?item=24503 : Give us what you got! It started out with me going, wow this a cool game and was probably the deciding reason to buy an xbox (DOA 3 also had some say in it aswell). The story intrigued me the most making me post ridiculous theories over at xbox.com, some of which I posted here at HBO as well, unfortunately. Halo was probably the first game where I had more fun doing glitches and tricks then sticking to the actual game. I'd like to thank darkhelmet for perfecting the Warthog Jump, as his video inspired me to do many warthog jumps. :) And frogblast for all his fantastic tricks which kept me entertained for hours. :) The love of Halo has taken me round many websites and have made many friends online both national and international. It has also made me a moderator at xboxottawa.ca, famous for FTC. It's a bit odd for an Australian to moderate a Canadian website but hey if it weren't for Halo. :) Halo based Machinima has always amazed to this day, which has inspired me to start making my own. We'll see how I go. But if it weren't for HBO, I don't think the Halo fanbase would be as a great a fanbase as it is today. So thanks Wu, Miguel and Count and to the HBO community. You are the glue. :)
