: And that slight, ever-so-short, movement of Hood's last look at the men (and : women) he's letting go off into certain doom is just a perfect emotional : final note to it all. It adds to the player's doubt to the survival of our : heroes, and that makes the battles that come after all the more uncertain. : Thus, the fight is worth experiencing and fighting in for the player. That's a great one. I've noticed how Hood looks too, and how Miranda and Chief appear as they turn away. Completely unrelated but in the same cutscene - watch the soldiers as Arbiter walks past with the human weapons. The ODSTs make a motion like 'Hey, check this guy out. Pshh!' while the rank and file Marines are kind of surprised, and maybe a little scared. The ODSTs of course, are badass. ;)
