In Response To: Re: Notes from the frame-by-frame (AladelAngel) : This makes me wonder if "Vergil" is the SI's counterpart in the : same way that Loki was Mack's counterpart in Contact Harvest. An AI to : guide the player through the new game/expansion maybe? Staten clearly fell in love with telling the story of his AIs in Contact Harvest (for good reason - it was my favorite part of the book). Maybe Bungie decided to expose that style of story to the rest of the Halo fanbase? Plus maybe they want to make up for the fact that most of the Cortana sequences in Halo 3 felt a bit flat.
