Nope! I manage my parents portfolio and I can say with 100% knowledge that they are 100% Microsoft free. : In conclusion: Microsoft is not in business to save the world or to end world
I'm sorry that you can't see that implant that's sticking out of the side of your head. I wouldn't expect it to allow you to say anything BUT good things about Microsoft. I suppose industrial companies that rape the environment are "just trying to make money for their stockholders" too. The difference is not in taking tons of money, it's in leaving something behind that makes the world a better place for it having been there. Microsoft hardly comes under that heading. Other than people who work for Microsoft, no one loves the company. People like some of their products...when they work, aren't being porked by the latest virii hole or having their personal data ripped off. That's not very much of the time. True, they own 90% of the computer market. But why should they be rewarded for mediocrity, sloppiness, greed and hubris? Pardon me if I think that M$ is the dark pit of hell. It's an opinion that's been built up over time, not by supposition, but by observance of action. I don't read slashdot. I do, however, want to thank you for bringing up Apple, and yes, I do Think Different, hence my refusal to accept mediocrity. |
