Actually, I won't be paying several hundred dollars for Halo. I don't believe I said that I was going to buy an X-box. My argument was intended to point out why someone would want to buy an X-box for Halo (and perhaps unintentionally, all other X-box games). Personally, I'm a bit torn between the two because I see some games I really want to play on BOTH systems. But your argument seemed so full of bias towards the Gamecube (and I apologize if it wasn't intended as such) that I thought I'd contribute to the opposite viewpoint a bit. As for Resident Evil on Gamecube: this IS a game I really want to play. I remember forcing a few of friends to download the trailer so they could see how awesome it looks. But you say that there's nothing that looks as good on the X-box, and that's, uhhh, bullshit. I honestly have seen nothing as amazing as the waterfall/cliff level DoA3. That level is mind-blowing. UNFORTUNATELY, I'll be able to get neither system. I'm in the middle of attempting to pay for a semester of college that I can't afford anyway, and for that reason, I'm waiting for the PC version and saving myself hundreds of necessary dollars. I seriously doubt that my computer will run it as well as the X-box, but it's the only option I have at the moment.
