You'll also have less features and inferior hardware on your machine. Like Ferrex said up above, superior hardware doesn't guarantee good games, but it's an obvious advantage. : I don't work for Nintendo, so I'm not paid to proselytize you with gibberish.
When I see the Gamecube doing DoA3, we can talk. Resident Evil for Gamecube? That's mostly static environments, even if they are 3D(which I'm not sure of). A crippled PC? It's more like an augmented console, in my opinion. It takes several positive aspects of convential desktop computers and combines them to create a superior console. It's funny; no one was complaining when Nintendo wanted to add a hard drive... Oh, and I especially like Nintendo's choice of extremely nonstandard storage media. As Nerdshoe claims, "I tried to pick up the disc, but I mistook it for a contact lens." : The only question I asked myself was Indigo or Jet Black? Indigo.
