Let's look at the quote, shall we?

"... Halo, which will play far, far, far better with a mouse/keyboard combination."

This is from a person who has NEVER PLAYED HALO, either with a console controller or a mouse/keyboard combo. He's basing his opinion on his belief that Halo will be just like all the other games he's ever played... and in those cases, he liked mouse/keyboard better.

MSN, who ACTUALLY WORKS ON DEVELOPING THE GAME, is suggesting that maybe, just maybe, Bungie did something right, and designed the game in such a way that it's NOT LIKE every other game this guy has played.

You're welcome to your opinion. Until you know what the fuck you're talking about, though... you just sound stupid telling the developers that you know their game better than they do.
