In Response To: Re: Bungie Weekley Update: The Smuggler (Omega) : Line-by-line assessment: We know from the Halo 3 terminals that LF.Xx.3273 : refers to the Gravemind, but we don't know in what sense. Does 'research : and containment facility' modify the LF.Xx.3273 (ie. is LF.Xx.3273 the ID : for the facility) or does the LF.Xx.3273 say what is being researched and : contained (the Flood/Gravemind). Either way, I'm assuming that the : facility is either Delta Halo or the Library on Delta Halo. In Halo 3's : terminals, the LF.Xx.3273 could refer to the Gravemind's location rather : than the Gravemind as an entity. : Delta site could refer to Delta Halo or just to a part of Delta Halo; Halo

LF.Xx.3273 can be thought to be synonymous with the word Flood in this context. It's the Forerunner designation for the Flood Life Form. It's used in the terminals to represent the Gravemind specifically, but is still just referring to the Flood as a whole. Delta Site is referring to Delta Halo, just as the text in Terminal 3 refers to Installation 04 or "Alpha Site". Relevant Terminal text below: REPORT: SECURITY BREACH: 1/3
