You're : saying they "should" have won the war and now bringing up : "could" if the sitation was different, which it evidently : wasn't. Because they were idiots. This IS an alternate what-if situation, in which the Forerunners were smart and deployed massive numbers of sentinels to planets to defend them against a Flood invasion. I'm saying the Forerunners lost the war, not because the Flood were just that powerful, but because they make dumb decision. (Or at least didn't make them make the smart one, which is the massive sentinel army strategy.) : Again, provide evidence that they weren't deploying Sentinels in the numbers : you suggest aside from this claim, which is essentially "because I : say so." Because if they DID they would have won. : Irrelevant. That only proves the Forerunner could move the facilities around : the galaxy, which is already apparent by the fact that they can build them : at the Ark. That doesn't require Forerunner control of the galaxy. No, but it certainly implies it. Anyone THAT powerful is going to have massive control.
