| Comment on the Covenant in H3 | |

In Response To: My Halo 3 review (finally). (Gravemind) I agree almost entirely on your Covenant subplot story, and wish that there had been more Elites and Hunters in the game, in addition to more Covenant story overall. It hadn't really occurred to me before, but the place in the game that could've really used more Elites was that first half when you're on Earth. You could've had the best of both worlds: Bungie could please the MASTA CHEEF-only fans by having him back on Earth, saving it from the Covenant, and at the same time having Elite allies fighting alongside him occasionally, being bad ass, and revealing Covenant plot to you as you go along. It probably would've been much better if the Rat's Nest base was primarily Elite-run rather than some old human hideout, because then you could focus more on the Elites and have them seem like a stronger ally for the humans who were basically toast at that point anyway. They could have easily fit the extra Elite/Covenant story in there in addition to the boring/non-existent human stuff, and still be a great experience. Now I'm depressed at how the Covenant subplot story unfolded, even though I had gotten over it. THANKS A LOT GRAVEMIND.
