I would say in my opinion, I would not mind some quick and dirty ports, of maps that might otherwise not make the cut, with less played maps such as Boarding Action, Ice Fields, those Halo 2 Vista exclusive maps, and maps that would not require much but are still good such as Gemini and Midship. Of course the more fleshed out visual upgrades in maps is nice too, and would be expected on a new Blood Gulch or Lockout. Both of which I am extremely anticipating. *hinthint* I definitely want remakes of the old maps, Chill Out, Damnation, Headlong, such old maps, that I really miss. The more the old remakes the better, if you ask me. I would like to see a series of map packs dedicated to Halo CE and Halo 2 with all of the maps included that have not already been done in Halo 3 (so no repetition of Battle Creek and Beaver Creek, you get the idea), and have these maps packs be a mix between complete overhaul and cut and paste, depending on the former popularity of the map. In this way we would eventually get all of our old favorites for the final Halo. (as far as we know) Then come out with some originals in between, even though they may cost more. Of course I'm just dreaming, the optimum number of maps would be the maximum Bungie can throw at me, and then some. The more the merrier.
