I'm glad you had your friend's film to compare against. People need to realize that their own film only shows what they saw (showing the grenade from the blue guy's perspective from your own film doesn't change anything). If the game was lagging, your film will be lagging as well. Only the host's film holds the tru7h. In this case, it seems you were the only client in the game that didn't get the memo of where you really were.
