I agree completely with Parish in this.
The cutscenes look and play out quite well, but some of the writing made {& makes} me want to gag.
Lord Hord & Commander Keyes are the worst offenders, they make the game seem aimed at terribly casual audience who are as Parish said 'gamers who usually snooze during cutscenes;'.

I still love Halo 3, I've merely prepared a sharp utensil for whoever who wrote that dialogue, a quarter of their blood should be enough penance :P
