The fading is quite sudden too. It's not quite a case of 'pop-in', but the effect is almost as bad." Like Rockslider says it's not long after the start, once you get outside. As you enter the area there is an overturned hog and 2 marines to your left. After killing the 2 jackals I went and stood on one and then focused on the 2 marines. With 480p I can see them and they remain in sight no matter where I go. With 576i like Rockslider says it seems to be approximately the draw distance for them. Experiment a bit moving further from the marines and nearer to them. Out of interest do you have a preferred resolution? 720p or 1080i? Does your CRT or any CRT do 1080p?
