Alternative:
Play through until that first part. Grab a ghost and go take out the AA wraith. Once the wraith is dead you'll get a checkpoint. Save and Quit. Continue your campaign and boost the ghost straight over the edge with as much speed as you can. Quit out of the game just before you respawn. Go into saved films and the ghost should push you through both barriers horizontally.
It may take two or three film-watchings but that's the way that worked best for me.
