The applications for this may be limited to certain situations : where the proper tools and barrier alignments exist, but my : proof-of-concept was The Storm and Floodgate. : Check out my fileshare (has the best ones) and screenshot galleries for some : nice pictures of ..a few different things ;) : http://www.bungie.net/stats/Halo3/FileShare.aspx?gamertag=petetheduck : http://www.bungie.net/stats/Halo3/Screenshots.aspx?gamertag=petetheduck : How to: The basic method to get outside invisible barriers with the saved : film camera is to position the camera between the invisible barrier in : question and some object that will past through it or bump directly into : it, such as a phantom dropship, scarab, pelican, etc. As the object runs : into you, you'll be bumped past the barrier. : There are two problems that prevent you from doing some real exploring, : though: 1. There is a second set of invisible barriers (which no object : tends to pass through) : 2. If you DO get past the second set, you'll be snapped back next to the : player : So here is what I found: On the levels I tested, the lowermost barrier(s) is : the best way out (since an object dropped will pass through the first and : come to rest on the second [in The Storm and Floodgate, the lowermost : barrier is common]). If you can get pushed through both, you are basically : free to roam as far as you'd like. To avoid problem 2, you need to be dead : when you do this, so the camera has nowhere to snap back to. : Examples: The Storm - capture the first Wraith and drive it off into the : Artifact crater. After you are dead, but before you spawn, save and quit : and load up the saved film. Use the Wraith to bump you through the : barrier, and your player will already be dead at this point. I hope you : enjoy holding down the left trigger because the Keyship is WAY out there. : Floodgate - turn around from where you spawn and use the nearby crates as : your object by pushing one over the edge. You really need to experiment : with the invisible barriers here; the first is very close to the cliff and : the lowermost is actually a decent distance away from the base of the : cliff (due to terrain). : Take that, "no fun" barriers!! You've completely confused me. I'm using the Storm, and I'm past the first barrier, is there a way past the second or no?
