In Response To: Re: Probably a scam (the new one) Some of you get it.. the point is that if you play multiplayer, you run the risk of kids screaming campaign spoilers at you.. not about multiplayer, but the campaign. I guess you'd be safe for the first few hours at least, and let me tell you. It is by far the coolest part of the halo experience, to be online with everyone holding impromptu temporary ceasefires while everyone stops in amazement to check out new gadgets/maps/features. You'll be fighting and spot something, and you'll stop shooting and be like. "woah! hang-on.. what the hell is THAT over there?!" Some folks will stop and join you in checking stuff out. The comraderie is amazing between teammates AND teams. It's like even the little 7 year olds in Texas with foul mouths wanna be friendly while everyone figures it all out. Of course.. it all goes to hell in a week or so, to modders/out-of-level-folks/brats, and all that, but it takes a little time. I got to experience that kind of thing with Halo 2 multiplayer on release night (for about three hours), and I got to experience it with the first 2 days of the Halo 3 beta. I got the beta through friends/family invite, so I was ahead of most folks, and by the time the rest of you joined.. that kinda "glow" was gone because we wanted to seriously PWN you with our slight experience advantage while we still HAD that advantage. It's seriously cool, and I wouldn't miss it for the world. If you do campaign first, you'll miss all that. I've requested the 25th - 30th off from work, so I'll play maybe 2-3 hours of multiplayer, and then head into the campaign for a solid few days before returning to multiplayer.
