In Response To: My theory on Terminals (Druff) : Marathon used terminals so that the player could receive important info : (along with lots of unimportant info =P) from the AIs, Leela, Tycho, : Durandal, etc. In Halo, they eschewed this by placing the AI literally : inside your head, and they gave you information directly. : But Cortana isn't inside MCs head anymore... Interesting idea, and it may be close to the truth. But remember, Durandal wasn't on another planet when he transmitted. When he was on the moon of Lhowon and tried to transmit to us down beneath the Citadel, the transmission was garbled, and he couldn't lock on to our signal. So is Cortana more uber? Or will we be seeing other AIs (Tycho and Thoth analogues)?
