And I thank you for it, though if you could go a small step further and say it quite loudly several times a day within earshot of small gatherings, that would be even better. Besides, anyone willing to stick the term 'sincipital follicles' in their blog is alright by me. : And a yank, properly, is a Yankee Yeah I thought there might be a distinction in the States. Over here though, I'm afraid you'd all be "yanks" when it comes to slang. Actually I wouldn't normally have used such an undignified term as I'm sure a lot of Americans will have the same feeling about that as I do about the term 'brits', which I loathe with a vengeance. Even worse, most British people seem to use it about themselves nowadays. Gak! I distance myself from these lazy-mouthed hooligans, and wave my pants in their general direction. And they would do well to heed my anger and mend their ways, for my pants are many in number. Hmmm... this whole pants thing is like a virus in my brain now. Must... keep... saying... pants... : I'm not American, anyway. I'm Texan. My own sense of identity tends to go the other way. I don't so much think of myself as English or even British, but as a citizen of the galaxy. Heh, too much sci-fi perhaps? Whatever, I'd make a lousy patriot.
