Don't let anyone outside the videogaming community hear you saying that, else they might feel they've had their worst prejudices confirmed! When you battle through to get to the end of a level or whatever, it's no more of an empty goal than most other recreational challenges is it? It certainly shouldn't have been an empty goal to YOU, and you're the one that matters. As long as it was sufficiently challenging, you should have had an engrossing time for a while, and you can take satisfaction in it at the end because you knew it took skill.
