In Response To: Re: There's pie in that thar sky (Cody Miller) Gotta agree on "smoothness". I'm hoping that the larger, more open environments will help fix the clunkiness. The FOV may be shifted back as a result. The weapons will need to have better range, ie. un-nerfing the shotgun especially. I'd disagree on the Banshee. The flips and rolls feel very "cookie cutter" to me. It was like they said, "The new people we brought in to try flying the Banshee don't seem to have any skill at avoiding enemy fire. Let's make it so that anyone can do picture perfect flips and rolls at the mere touch of a button!". In H1 to avoid enemy fire, especially while doing a strafing run, you had to do some pretty crazy stuff. The flips/rolls, along with boosting (as Ragashingo said below) felt really clunky, less like you were pulling off some slick flying and more like you were hitting buttons on a controller. The same could be said of the Ghosts boosting ability. I did like boosting in the Wraith, though. Battering ram, baby. The only way I felt H2s Banshees were superior was with boarding. Flying your own smoking wreck of a 'Shee, veritably mounting an enemy 'Shee, and preforming a "Midair Violation" on the poor sucker of a heretic, sending him plummeting into Threshold while you fly off in his mint condition Yellow Banshee... One of the finer moments in H2 :)
