In Response To: Re: No (Ducain) : Dunno. Having a camera that would allow us to look at anything, anywhere in a : campaign map would probably NOT be positive to me (us). Much of the fun of : exploration is wondering if you'll find something cool. Personally, I'd : love to have folks finding new eggs and cool spots years after the release : of Halo 3. I know that's a stretch, but I'd love it. I remember wondering what the top of SC would be like and what the view would be like from up there. This would occur to me almost every time I played the level. I finally decided to find out how to get up there to see for myself. The first twenty seconds was, "this is cool, so this is what its like". But then there was a slight feeling of dissapointment. Now that I know, all the wonder has gone. Now when I play that level I never wonder what its like on top. I have no real desire to have another look. I wouldn't even have bothered if I could just fly up and see the island from any viewpoint. Has this been discussed much by the tricking/exploring community? I think that it really could END exploring. -PS On a personal note, have you ever felt a slight feeling of anti-climax or dissapointment when you finally achieve your goals?
