In Response To: Maybe a precursor to telling some history n Halo3 (Shaumarai) The two scenes could not be in the same location because Master Chief is set in modern game African desert (circa New Mombasa city). In fact the whole region around Mombasa is presently (2007) a desert, and chances are a field of grass did not appear there only to disappear 30 some years later. As to whether the children are spartans or not is up in the air, although the general theme of innocence in the opening scene does not play into a militaristic idea of abducting children and breeding them as super soldiers. Thus I am leaning towards the idea of the boy being John before he was taken, and the girl being a childhood friend. | |
