In Response To: Blindfiring (Necromas) : It's perfect for aiming around a corner down a hallway, say, in a ships : corridors, where you can't really turn the corner without exposing : yourself, and your enemies don't have much cover either in the middle of a : hallway. Oh man, it's definately made for hallways. If you have HaloPC CE, and play Yoyorast island, grab the needler before going into the flag tunnels. Avoiding the needles in there is impossible, just fire a clip down the hall or up the glass tube and you're guarenteed a needler kill! As for more of a story type reason for needler usefulness, I'd say it's designed for combatting flood, as it would rip bodies apart with explosions, rendering them useless for reinfection.
