In Response To: Re: what WAS the needler designed for..........? (Simpsons Rule) What's going to happen in single player if Bungie does upgrade the needler in Halo 3? The needler relies on getting a lot of needles into the target. It took a fair number of Grunts working together or a large degree of carelessness on your part to get yourself killed. If the number of needles required drops then a couple of lucky Grunts can kill you easily. I'd still love to see a turret mounted, supper needler or a Needler Hunter. Imagine if his shield had needles on it that skewer you, detach then explode in your flesh. Or a sniper needler that fires a turquoise needle that pins people to walls just like the crossbow bolt from Half-life 2 (ok not very original but fun). Its as fast as a normal needle and tracks but only has a x2 sight. Or maybe no sight, it just has its lock on. A sniper rifle for Grunts. |
