Sarge: Taken from Aliens?

I don't know if this has been covered at all before, but I recently rewatched Aliens (the sequal to Alien) and I noticed that the "Sarge" from the movie was in many ways the Sarge that we all know and love from Halo (although our Sarge doesn't swear as much)He even says some things similar to Halo "You're not getting paid by the hour" as compared to "The core aint paying us by the hour!" Just wondering if anyone had anything to say about the subject. I also noted that Sarge in Aliens was taken as a host for the Aliens...which was also attempted in Halo.
Any opinion is welcome.
