I'm sure that if it were up to Bungie, then Halogen would be : playing on hundreds of computers everywhere. the disclaimer was all u needed... everyone knows, if a company lets u do something, it has the right to take it down. why complain? it is their property, and when u decided to build on their property, u knew rhe risks. i have never had much sympathy for the roadkill. granted they deserve respect for the effort, and some sympathy for the loss...however, u step in the road, u know without question, a bigger vehicle can and prolly will, run ur hind end over. i will grant u one thing...m$ has a way of ouching folks...make omelotts, nick a few eggs...but somehow i feel, people with enuff talent, will find a niche. sometimes i think people forget the immense amount of money we be talkin about here. it's not as if yer goin on about a few bux, or even a few thousand...i can't imagine how much m$ has invested in halo, talk about proprietary !!! i'm sure the field will even, it usually does, and thems that put in a lot of effort will somehow find another toy :) Bungie , Microsoft, etc., have been really nice to millions of people, and have let slide a ton of issues, that they could have been quite nasty about. They don't want to step on anything, the fan base has contributed lots to them, for sure. it's business man, just business. ash p.s. i understand your take on this , i was in business a long time ago. i've had inventions stolen, busuness taken away...the usual. but i find that making a bump, only gets u worn down, when all u may have wanted was to be noticed...
