In Response To: Re: Halogen Beta? (Narcogen) No one was more disappointed in the Microsoft decision to shut down Halogen than I was. I sent a (ranting) email to Frankie expressing my views on it (even though I knew it wasn't Bungie's call), and he told me that the guys at Bungie were disappointed also, which proved to me that their fan's creativity does not go unnoticed (which; ultimately, is the only important thing anyway). What is everyone upset about, really? That Peter Jackson's studio is making a Halo RTS?!? IMO you guys should be rejoicing! You are getting what you wanted: a Halo RTS (at least I am getting what I wanted). I mean c'mon- Peter Frickin' Jackson guys! How much more could you ask for?!? It makes me feel bad for the guys at Bungie that have to read this drivel about how people want Halo Wars to fail or how it's gonna suck because they don't like the dialogue in a trailer or because Bungie "stole someone's idea". It's really absurd that any fan of Halo would be upset about more content, more combat, and more carnage! I didn't need to convince 7 of my friends to buy $300 Xboxes- I just let them grab my duke and splatter some grunts on the hull of the Pillar of Autumn waaay back in '01. I didn't stand out in the cold one winter night of November 8th 2004 because I didn't trust the judgement of Bungie or Microsoft, either. Give it a chance, that's all I'm sayin'.
